To its fans, Volkswagen offers ideas for changes 2017-05-24
A few days ago, VW America exhibited VW for its range of Golf, Jetta and Beetle, with sport modifications suggested by fans.
The thing, you will agree, is not new in itself, since of all manufacturers, VW products are among the most modified by their owners. So it's no wonder to see ample spare parts on the market to increase handling or performance.
Beetle Post
With the Beetle R-Line, the BMX champion Alise Post has not only set his bike on a suction roof support, but had 19 "Drama Queen rims installed. H & R Spring Street Performance suspensions replace the originals.
Jetta GLI Nardo
Modified to the taste of Sam Dobbins, design director at Vossen Wheels, his GTI RS Golf has received expanded body parts designed not to come in contact with tires. Besides the profiled roof bars, the interior has undergone the most important changes, leaving only the bare minimum. Rally-style seats, sport steering wheel, aluminum floor and rear bench seat removed to make room for reinforcement bars to mention only the most important.
Golf R Heritage
Different treatment for the Golf R Heritage, three lines in the colors of Germany slice the black paint. Rims, tires and suspensions follow the previous elements.
Golf Alltrack Country
For expedition enthusiasts, this Golf Alltrack 4MOTION four-wheel drive yet sold only in Europe with an enhanced suspension is equipped with roof racks and bicycle. The tent system incorporates a solar panel that recharges three batteries concealed in the trunk; - a shower also heated by the sun completes the tackle. Inside, an infotainment system is completed by a computer mounted in the space of the spare wheel.
