Two lovers of the combi
The adventure begins in 1999 in the barn of Pascal and Yolaine Amodru. He worked in the bank "in costume-tie", she was a graphic designer and they traveled their holiday roads in a Combi.
Tired of having to order spare parts in the United States or England, the couple decides to set up a company. "I was in charge of the orders, Pascal was doing the restoration," says Yolaine, 45.
At the time, "people did not restore, they bought Combi to recover the engine and put it on a beetle." We were against the current, "recalls Pascal.
In 2002, the Amodru team up with a childhood friend of Pascal, Jean-Luc Faure, to set up a company and launch a website. Exit used parts; they focus on the new and also offer parts for Transporter series built since 1980.
