An assembly plant of the Chinese manufacturer Chery located in Algeria for 2018 , its first model will be the Chery "QQ", reports the daily "L'Expression".

Covering an area of 20 hectares, this plant will have to reach the 40 to 50% integration rate of the new QQ, within five years, announces the source adding that this model will have an interesting tariff position with a price of around 800,000 DA.

As a reminder, the representation of Chery in Algeria is provided by GM Trade and it is with the latter that the Chinese manufacturer sets up its plant in Algeria, GM Trade must also have a Shacman truck plant, announced for the end of this year, and a bus factory "Higer", also expected for next year.
