The Agra group strengthens itself by acquiring the AutoParts platform 2017-06-02
The acquisition of the AutoParts platform, located in Gennevilliers (92), by the parts distributor specialist became effective since April 2017. AutoParts becomes Drop Parts.
The independent groups Agra, associated with Sirius, both specializing in the distribution of spare parts, signed the acquisition of the AutoParts platform in April 2017.
Located in Gennevilliers, it has had a turbulent history in France, under the names of LumLux and then AutoParts Distribution. The platform, which had been put into liquidation at the end of 2016, is reborn under the leadership of the group headed by André Brutinel. It also inherits a new name: Drop Parts.
"Beyond a simple bargain, this acquisition is a strategic and thoughtful solution," says the group. Indeed, this establishment in the Paris region "constitutes a central and essential point for the distribution of spare parts".
Agra, which has a national warehouse in Meyzieu (69) and has since 2013 relied on the five regional platforms of Sirius, reinforces its influence at the national level.
200 parts families
This acquisition enables the two actors "to reach specific markets through complementary brands, to expand the customer base through the additional relay in the Paris region, to ensure better availability in terms of products and logistics, and intensifying the frequency of deliveries (twice a day) ".
Drop Pièces Autos is to "distribute many ranges, very long with premium brands, but also the exclusive Tecdrive brand of Agra, or the brand Artec, founded by Autoparts Distribution". In total, Drop Pièces Autos stores approximately 200 families, representing about fifty suppliers.
