The ministry of defense is launching tomorrow morning the armed forces exposition to support spare parts industry settlement of “AFEED” in the international expositions and conferences center of Riyad for seven days.
AFEED provides over 40 thousand of new investment opportunities to the spare parts industry sector, more than 1300 one of supporting competent categories in the medical sector as well as offering series of inventions and creations that has contributed in solving the problems.
The showroom has a total extent of 15000 square meters of four halls connected to international expositions and conferences center of Riyad, aiming to highlight the national transition’s goals and programs, fulfilling an economical diversity, increasing the local content to stimulate the exploitations, supporting non-oil exports, the globalization of local facilities and supporting the cognitive economy for creation and production.
The ministry of defense affirms that the exposition is an investment opportunity to the private sector to expose its products and produce the different needs of the armed forces and the important contributing companies of spare parts and the equipments, in the context of growing the investment’s motivations in the kingdom, the evolution of investment’s environment in a general way and the developed position of the kingdom in the economical countries rank in the world.
The ministry mentioned that AFEED aims to qualify national factories to manufacture spare parts locally, looking for a long term strategic relationship with the private sector in the local manufacturing domain, support the economical diversity and stimulate the investments and the non-oil productions and exports.
The ministry explained that the exposition comes along with several scientific conferences, worksheets, by the presence of their highness during the period of 13-15 of Jumada Al Awwal 1437 Hijri corresponding to 22-24 February 2016.
The scientific conferences, worksheets discuss a selection of important topics, on top of them the role of research and scientific centers to transfer the techniques, the financial procedures to support local manufacturing and spare parts industry and materials settlement.
