Bosch is supplementing fuel injectors to Thai production portfolio 2016-05-13
Robert Bosch Automotive Thailand is setting up the first fuel injector’s plant in the country, the factory has the annual production capacity of one million units and will provide Thailand base with OEM vehicles manufacturers according the company’s statement. It is implanted 85 miles southeast of Bangkok and will be established by the end of the year, it will exert Bosch’s injection technology and will figure electronically controlled material progress, automatic testing and parts calibrating.
The supplier assures that Thailand is strategic place for investment. Martin Knoss, ASEAN regional president of Bosch gasoline systems Div, told the Nation Newspaper: “The country offers manufacturers a solid infrastructure base, abundant skilled labor, advanced technical universities and vocational colleges, a strong automotive supplier base, free trade within ASEAN and several bilateral trade and investment agreements”. He says Bosch’s investment in the supplying industry will appeal other OEMs to invest too.
There are already six Bosch fuel injectors plants internationally and two of them are in Asia, it has a line of automotive components in Thailand including brake systems, diesel systems, wiper systems and engine-cooling.
