Australia : Terex Trucks chooses Porter Group in Oceania 2017-06-20
In order to have a stronger presence in Australia and New Zealand, Terex Trucks has appointed Porter Group to distribute its articulated haulers in this region.
Porter Group's mission will be to meet the demand for 10th Terex generation - TA400 and TA300 articulated haulers while providing the associated SAV in Australia and New Zealand. Headquartered in Hamilton, New Zealand, the company is expanding its operations with a full-service fleet of machinery. The goal? Maintain its position as the largest dealer and equipment rental for construction. It will rely on the distribution network of its entity Porte Equipment to distribute the Terex trucks in Oceania.
Founded in 1945, Porter Group has 40 points of sale and service in Oceania and distributes shovels, wheel loaders, skid steers, compactors, crushers, screens and conveyors. In addition to its sales and leasing divisions, the group has subsidiaries for the supply of spare parts, maintenance and repair as well as rental of cranes and access equipment.
