Ford: all-brands maintenance arrives in Europe 2017-05-29
Ford launches Omnicraft "all brands" maintenance in Europe. France will soon be served.
Omnicraft, the label of spare parts for maintenance "all brands", launched by the manufacturer in North America in January, makes its debut in the Old Continent. This should allow the blue oval to develop its maintenance service.
The blue oval company already announces 2,000 of the most requested parts (oil filters, platelets ...) and waits for 10,000 future references. Alternators, cockpit filters or brake master cylinders are announced. Eventually, the company plans to offer 10,000 parts distributed in 30 categories.
According to Frederiek Toney, president of Ford's global customer service, the spare parts world market will increase by 70% over the next six years.
Omnicraft is expected to allow Ford to take over vehicles from 85% to 90% of competing brands according to him.
Soon in France
Omnicraft should allow Ford to attract new customers in its workshops and develop its business service.
France is not one of the first eleven European markets to be served. Omnicraft will be launched soon according to the American manufacturer.
