Morocco: Renault market leader with a share of 43.1% at the end of October 2017 2017-11-20
With a market share of 43.1% at the end of October 2017 and 5,260 vehicles delivered, the car manufacturer is positioning itself as the leader of the Moroccan automotive market. Through its two brands Renault and Dacia, the French manufacturer places 7 models in the top 10 bestsellers in Morocco.
With 10,734 sales at the end of last October, Dacia Logan maintained its best-selling model position in Morocco, followed by Dacia Sandero with 9,227 units, while Renault Clio advanced in the top 10 and now occupy the 3rd position with 8,879 vehicles.
Dacia Dokker and Dacia Duster occupy respectively 4th and 6th place with 8,856 and 4,777 vehicles sold. The Renault Kangoo also progressed to take the 7th place on the podium with 4,502 vehicles sold.
In October 2017, Dacia maintained its leading position with 27% market share with 3,290 deliveries. In total, 39,096 vehicles sold. The combined market share stands at 28.4%, which is 2.4 points better than at the end of October 2016.For its part, Renault closed the month with 1,970 units delivered and a market share of 16.1%. Renault confirms its second place in the podium with a total of 18,729 deliveries and a market share of 13.6%. That's 3 points more than in 2016.
