The first edition of Automechanika Jeddah, 15th version of the Automechanika world exhibitions that was held at Jeddah Center for Forums and Events between january, 26th to 28th 2016 was exceptional in terms of exhibition space, the number of exhibitors, number of visitors and the number of business deals and contracts, the thing that emphasizes the importance of Automechanika as the largest exhibition for the sector after-sales services for vehicles at the global level.

This exhibition was attended by more than 5,000 visitors from professionals and specialists in the after-sales services for vehicles sector, briefed them on the products and services offered by 184 exhibitors coming from 26 countries.

The Automechanika Jeddah Exhibition was as a platform to promote spare parts industries feeder vehicles, special vehicles and services, electronic systems, cars and Accessories amendments, reform systems of care, service stations, systems and car cleaning equipment, and tools associated with the sector of light and heavy vehicles.

Ahmed Pauwels, Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organizer of the exhibition, said that the exhibition that was held for the first time in the Saudi market is a very successful experiment. There has been a large turnout of visitors; Saudis specialists in the field of spare parts and car services, stressing that the success of the Automechanika Jeddah Exhibition exceeded all expectations in one of the largest and most important markets in the region.

He explained «in light of the preliminary reports of the huge success of the session of the 15 global Automechanika, it is clear to us that the demand for vehicles and spare parts is still experiencing tremendous growth in the region». He added «In light of the continued development of the exhibition in collaboration with our partners, we will continue to work in order to develop the Saudi market. »
