He immediately enrolled in General Motors Automotive Service Education Program (ASEP) in Twin Falls, Idaho. He attended school for two years, graduating with high honors and during school; he worked for Con Paulo's Chevrolet in Jerome, Idaho as a service tech. Upon graduating, he returned to Chinook to work with the family business, DePriest GMC for another 10 years - in 2006 he broke away from the family business forming his own company, American Garage.
