Alliance Automotive invests in reusable parts 2017-05-31
Alliance Automotive Group announces the purchase of SEVP Auto, a specialist in the recycling of vehicles out of use (VHU). This is the second acquisition of the group, which had already invested in a VHU approved center in Niort.
The spare parts distribution group Alliance Automotive bought the SEVP Auto group on May 29, 2017. The latter, composed of three sites, is an actor in the recycling of vehicles out of use (VHU). Present in Aisne and Yvelines, its facilities generated a turnover of 20 million Euros in 2016.
Alliance Automotive thus wishes to self-supply itself with re-used parts, since each year SEVP Auto handles 15,000 VHUs. We are delighted that the SEVP Auto group is joining us to develop our project around the reused part. By integrating our group, SEVP Auto should intensify the number of vehicles dismantled by supplying all the distributors of the group in about twenty departments, "explains Luc Fournier, director of the Reused Parts business at Alliance Automotive.
Last September, Alliance Automotive Group had already acquired the VHU Genève Occasion center to cover the needs of its distributors in about fifteen departments in western France. Last year, 6,000 VHUs were dismantled. SEVP Auto will supply distributors located in the north-east and in the Paris region.
